Yukon is a 5 month-old suspected golden retriever German shepherd mix! He is an incredibly soft-tempered, sweet boy with a gentle soul. He loves all people and will
warm up to you by gently leaning in and then rolling on his back for belly rubs! He has whole lot of love in his expression and personality !
Yukon is a calm puppy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys meeting people. He’s not mouthy or overly rambunctious like some puppies. Aside from the occasional accident while he continues learning, he’s a very well-behaved guy.
He’s doing great learning to walk on a leash. Yukon doesn’t pull- He may pause to watch cars or get slightly spooked if a big dog starts barking, but he approaches everything with the most soulful, thoughtful expression.
Yukon is comfortable in a crate, though like any young puppy he shouldn’t be left in one all day.
We expect Yukon to grow into a big, beautiful boy—likely around 80 pounds full grown. We would love to find him a home that will gently help his confidence blossom while appreciating his naturally calm, sweet, and sensitive personality. Due to how much he enjoys tossing around his toys in the yard and fetching a tennis ball we would prefer him to have a fenced yard .
