Introducing the Schitt's Creek Litter

Mama Moira came to For Good Rescue, extremely pregnant and abandoned!! She even had buck shot bullets in her face! But despite being let down by humans, she entered our rescue as sweet as any dog could be!!

She gave birth to 14 puppies 3/20/26 and has been an excellent mama, but it’s time for these babies to move on to their forever families!!

Given that mama is an 85-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix we expect these puppies to be large as adults.  (80 ish girls. 100 ish boys) we are not sure on dad - could be German Shepherd like with the sable coats. We really hope they take after their mom’s calm, sweet demeanor.!!!

Right now, in foster each are learning the ropes of life and growing into their personality day after day!! Here’s how the Fosters describe them -

This is Mutt but he isn't one... he is an Anatolian Shepherd pup. He is a sweetheart. Calm and steady. He looks things over and thinks about it a bit. He is much bigger than his sister but he let's her win when they play. He's upside down on the grass and she is pinning him down even though he could easily get up and shake her off. He loves being outside sleeping and playing in the grass. He has met goats chickens and sheep on the farm. He is pretty calm looking at them through the fence. He knows to go potty when he gets outside and we are working on house training.  He walks well on a leash. He likes to sit quietly and snuggle on your lap. He is going to be a big boy. He lives with his sister Twyla and with a grouchy old Dachshund and a hyper Pomeranian farm dog. He would love to spend a lot of time with someone that would take him outside to play or to give him a job to protect and to give him a lot of love.
