Evie is a sweet 7-year-old Schnauzer who may be a little shy and cautious at first, but once she trusts you, she is incredibly loving and devoted. She absolutely adores her people and would love nothing more than to be the center of someone’s world.
Evie is gentle, laid-back, and happiest when she’s close to her person. She loves following her people around the house and being their little shadow. She can also be a bit of a watchdog, letting you know when she hears something outside.
Evie has wonderful house manners and has free rein of the home. She sleeps peacefully in her dog bed at night and is mostly potty trained with a consistent routine. If she is left alone for longer periods, she will use a pee pad when needed.
Evie does well with other dogs, but she would also be perfectly happy being someone’s one-and-only. Because she loves her people so much, she would do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long hours at a time. She truly wants to be part of your everyday life.
She also loves spending time outside, so a securely fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for her.
Evie will need regular grooming, and we’re currently growing back her adorable Schnauzer beard after she arrived with quite a bit of matting.
