She is 5 months old and will likely be 50 pounds full grown. She is a total super mutt!!
This sweet girl was rescued from a rough situation in rural Oklahoma and is now experiencing the warmth and safety of a loving home for the first time. Every day, Gertie is discovering what it means to be loved, and her sassy, fun-loving spirit is shining through.

Gertie is shy at first, but blossoms with trust and patience. She loves curling up beside her person, making her an ideal snuggle buddy for those cozy nights. Curious and observant, Gertie enjoys quietly watching the world and learning the joys of dog life, one brave step at a time. She loves to play with her three foster brothers and all their toys. Gertie is both crate trained and potty trained, making her an easy addition to any loving home. Due to her shy nature she would LOVE a home with another dog to keep teaching her the ropes!! A fenced yard for her to romp in would be an added bonus!
