Houla is a tender little Catahoula mix, about 5 months old, and expected to grow to around 50 pounds. She’s just beginning her journey as an indoor dog, taking in the world one gentle step at a time. Doorways, new people, and being called to you are all still new chapters she’s learning to read.
What she does know already is how to be sweet. Her nature is soft, kind, and quietly curious. She simply needs a patient family willing to guide her as she discovers that people are safe, homes are comforting, and love is something she can lean into.
With time, encouragement, and steady reassurance, Houla will blossom into the devoted companion she’s meant to be. She’s a little shy now, but her heart is wide open for the right family.
