Meet Louie!
At 10 years old and not quite 5 pounds, Louie is proof that the sweetest little souls can come in the tiniest packages.
This adorable little Pomeranian is gentle, easygoing, and just loves being with his people. He may be getting a little older and may not hear everything these days, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit! And that adorable little tongue that sometimes peeks out? It just makes him even more lovable.
Louie doesn’t have any teeth, and based on his exam, we suspect he had dental work done with his previous family. But don’t worry—he has no idea he’s missing anything! He loves his toys and is wonderfully gentle with them.
Louie is crate trained, potty trained, quiet, and an absolute dream in the car. He happily tags along with his foster mom on errands and is perfectly content just hanging out with his favorite person.
He gets along well with his little dog friends and would probably be happiest with canine companions closer to his own tiny size. Most of all, Louie loves being near his people and soaking up all the love he can get. Louie is doing great. He does have a heart murmur that he is on one medication for her to keep everything going as strong as possible, and it does not slow him down one bit!
At barely 5 pounds, he’s the perfect little pack-n-go companion—ready to go wherever you do, whether that’s a car ride, a shopping trip, or simply curling up beside you at home.
Louie is the kind of dog who makes you smile the moment you meet him. And we have a feeling it won’t take long before you fall completely in love.
